Who this covers

This policy covers the Retro Blocks iPhone app and this website at retroblocks.vdwal.xyz. It is written for the app as it currently works; if that changes, this page changes with it and the date above is updated.

What the app stores

Everything the app keeps is stored locally on your device, in the app's own storage, and is removed when you delete the app:

• The player name you type on the start screen.
• Your settings: sound on or off, vibration on or off, rows per level, and whether you chose to link Game Center.
• Your high scores: up to ten entries, each with the name, score, level reached, lines cleared and the date it was played.

None of this is transmitted anywhere. There is no server behind the app to transmit it to. The data policy lists each item in detail.

What the app does not do

• No user accounts and no sign-up.
• No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or usage measurement.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No third-party SDKs of any kind.
• No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
• No tracking across apps or websites, and nothing sold or shared with anyone.

Game Center

Linking Game Center is optional and is off until you press Link Game Center yourself. If you do:

• The sign-in is handled entirely by Apple. Retro Blocks never sees your Apple Account credentials.
• The app receives your Game Center display name, and shows it on the start screen so you can see that the link worked. It is not stored in the high-score table and is not sent anywhere.
• Apple's own privacy policy and Game Center terms apply to that connection.
• Scores are not submitted to any leaderboard today. If online leaderboards are added later, that will be described here before it happens, and it would only apply to games you play after linking.

You can unlink at any time from the start screen. Signing out of Game Center itself is done in the iOS Settings app.

This website

This site is static HTML. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no fonts, scripts or images from anyone else — everything is served from this domain. Like any web server, the host may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security and troubleshooting; those are not used to build a profile of you.

Children

Retro Blocks is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because nothing is collected or transmitted, there is no personal data held about you to request, correct or export. The data on your own device is entirely under your control: clear your high scores from within the app, or delete the app to remove everything at once.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts doing something this page does not describe — online leaderboards being the obvious candidate — this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
